Hi there! I'm Samantha-Sylvia, the enthusiastic founder and owner of EXELNOW, a dedicated English tutoring service based in Croatia. Originally from Africa, I now call Split, Croatia my home, where I've lived for the past five years. This beautiful city has enriched my life with diverse cultural experiences and even a new language! Alongside my native languages, English and Shona, I have also learned Croatian.

With 12 years of teaching experience, including 4 years focused on English, I hold a TEFL Level 5 Diploma and achieved a perfect score on the Marlins English test for cruise ship staff. My academic background includes a Bachelors in Arts (BA) honors degree in Theology which I taught for 7.5 years. My professional journey has taken me to Botswana, South Africa, the United States, Croatia, and even aboard a Cruise Line, allowing me to connect with people from various countries. My six years as a Youth Activities Counselor and Guest Services Representative while sailing the globe ignited my passion for creating inclusive and culturally diverse learning opportunities. I believe in making learning enjoyable!

When I'm not teaching, you can find me playing the piano, cycling, swimming, or strolling along the beach. Together, we’ll make your learning experience both fun and engaging!
